Hope everyone enjoyed the Easter break as we prepare for the big game under lights at Gawler Oval this Friday night in the Anzac Day clash against cross-town rivals Willaston. This will be a memorable day for the Club as well as the BL & G with the first game under lights for points.
Netball games will start as normal and run as per the timetable for any home and away fixture except for the Senior 1’s game which will start at 4pm. Football will start at 12.40pm with the under 15’s game while the A grade match expected to start at 6.30pm. The formalities will held on the oval from 6pm after the completion of the Reserves match. The A grade match will also be played for the Stephen Connelly Cup in honour of Stephen who played football for both clubs and passed away during the off-season. This will truly be a great day for the club and a fitting way to celebrate its 125th year anniversary while remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Come down to the Dog Track on Friday and enjoy a great day of Country sport.
