The first Saturday this netball season when it rained – both goals and drizzly raindrops!! All good though as the Tiger gals all did a fab job playing out the various games and netting another nice lot of wins right across the grades. All six senior sides scored winning margins as did our undefeated Junior 1 side and many of the others. Congrats this week on 50 Senior Club games to Brittny Connaughton and 50 Junior games to Emma Oldfield. Nice one gals!
Full results and coaches’ comments on the games played are listed below. Thanks to our weekly supporter’s for the girls ‘incentive awards’ :- Domino’s, Fasta Pasta, @Nourish, McDonalds, Super cuts, Noodle Box, Starplex, Subway and Wohler’s plus continuing thanks also to Baker’s Delight for the bread for bbq.
The club extends its sincere condolences to Kevin, Tegan and Bec Couzner on the passing this week of wife and mum – Avis. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time as we too remember a truly lovely and kind lady who gave so generously to others and this Club, and who will be missed by many.
This coming Saturday while some of us take a break from netball, it is congratulations to the club’s players who will representing the Association at the Netball Country Championships next weekend – to Emily Holland in 13 & Unders and in 15 & Unders Morgan Earl, Emily Hawley, Amber James, Maddie Nicholls and Sophie Warland. Congratulations on your selection and we trust you will each enjoy the experience.
So after the long weekend we then also have a Club bye so not back to netty again until 21st June – enjoy the mini break – back soon! Check out the Tiger Gals on Facebook.
