To all Gawler Central Tiger supporters, welcome back to another season of netball. It was great to see the start of the 2019 season on Saturday where we headed to Kapunda. It’s always an exciting time for everyone after weeks of preparation with trials & then preseason for it to all come together for the coaches & players getting that team on the court.

There’s been lots of buzz around the Tiger Gals in this off-season with the construction of our brand new netball courts. We’ve had 2 weeks of training on the courts now & they look fabulous! Thank you to the Office for Recreation & Sport for our grant but a particular very special mention to the tireless work, dedication & commitment to making this happen our former GCNC Club President Leanne Songer. It has not been an easy ride getting this project completed & the Gawler Central community can not thank Leanne enough for the work she has put into this project. We all look forward to stepping out onto these courts next week in our first game at home for the year against Freeling. If you haven’t been to check them out yet make sure you get down to GC this Saturday & cheer on our Tiger Gals.

To get all of our teams onto the courts on Saturday, there have been many club members contributing countless hours of their time. Thanks to everyone for their help – coaches, umpires and all of the committee who are a very dedicated group and have worked tirelessly to have everything ready. Thanks also to our continuing sponsors & our new sponsors for season 2019 – we appreciate your generosity and ongoing support.
