Winter arrived a week early as we headed to Angaston to take on the Panthers in chilly & very wet conditions. Very few were fortunate to escape playing in the rain but thankfully for our senior girls we travelled back to Gawler with a clean sweep on the scoreboards. Special mention to our 3 Sub Junior teams who all had a win yesterday; well done especially to the 1s & 2s who had their first wins of the season! Keep working hard little Tiger Gals.

Congratulations to Ellen O’Hennessy who notched up her 200th game when she took the court in the Senior 3s game on Saturday. Well done Ellen! Another milestone game on Saturday with Casey Sharkey playing her 100th game in the Senior 5s, congratulations Casey.

Thank you also to our weekly award supporters for their generosity with the incentive awards provided – Java Hut, Supercuts, Gawler Cinema, Brereton Jewellers, Fasta Pasta, Gawler Newsagency, Gawler South Bakery, Dominos, McDonalds, Starplex & Wohlers

Each week the Gawler Central Football Club kindly donates 2 awards for the best player in 2 teams from the day; this week awards went to Tegan Couzner from Senior 2s & Ellen O’Hennessy from Senior 3s. Thank you to the GCFC for donating this award each week!
