After 2 weeks off it was a glorious winter day for netball when we took on Kapunda at home on Saturday. It’s hard to believe we’re in the middle of the season and back to playing all the teams again. Hopefully we can continue our success of round 1 and have plenty of teams in the top 4 for finals opportunities.

Congratulations to Sub Junior 2 player Sienna Campbell who at just 12 years old noticed up 100 club games. Well done Sienna! Also congratulations to Senior 5 player Hannah Cameron who played her 100th game on Saturday too.

Kingsford Hotel club person of the week goes to Craig Le Busque; Craig works tirelessly every Saturday home game setting up the courts, working in the canteen/setting up the BBQ & packing up the courts at the end of the day. Its often work that goes unnoticed by those that aren’t there at the start or the end of the day so we thank you Craig for all your hard work!

Thank you also to our weekly award supporters for their generosity with the incentive awards provided – Starplex, Wohler’s, Kingsford Hotel, Harvest of India, Dominos, Gawler Newsagency, McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Gawler South Bakery, Supercuts, Brereton Jewellers, Exchange Hotel

Each week the Gawler Central Football Club kindly donates 2 awards for the best player in 2 teams from the day; this week awards went to Hayley Truscott from Senior 6s & Kate Lilly from Senior 7s. Thank you to the GCFC for donating this award each week!
